In his commitment to recover well-being, tranquility and social peace in the state, Governor David Monreal Ávila announced the start-up and deployment of the Special Security Forces Group in Zacatecas.
Heading the Flag Honors ceremony this Monday, at the Professional Training Institute of the Ministry of Public Security (SSP), the state president welcomed these elements, which will be deployed on roads and Regional Security Units ( UNIRSE), in addition to reinforcing actions to contain crime.
Accompanied by Arturo Medina Mayoral, Secretary of Public Security, authorities of the National Guard, the Mexican Army and justice agencies, Governor David Monreal reported that, with this Group of Special Forces, the commitment and coordination of those who make up the the State Table for the Construction of Peace in favor of Zacatecas.
He stressed that this Group will work hand in hand with security corporations, both federal, state and municipal, as well as with the different social sectors, such as women and men, teachers, farmers, ranchers, merchants, businessmen, public officials and with all the town of this beautiful entity.
With this action, said Governor David Monreal, continuity is given to the strategy that is carried out in collaboration with social organizations, educational institutions, religious leaders, private initiative and merchants, in responsibility and in the desire to achieve peace.
He recognized the people of Zacatecas that participated in the first forum to elaborate in a coordinated manner the Strategy for the Construction of Peace, Prevention and Citizen Coexistence, which is made up of 274 works and proposals from different institutions, social actors, academics and politicians.
To the police corporations, the state president told them that he had already given instructions to the Executive Secretariat of the State Public Security System to comply with the offer to provide them with more training, all work instruments, to improve their working conditions, transportation and infrastructure, for optimal performance of its functions.
Also, the recommendation of homologation and purge in the security corporations is added, because, he said, «in a Police, discipline, loyalty, commitment, love of freedoms and love of the people must prevail.»
If they do not deprive these values, it is difficult for them to have fraternity, solidarity, it is difficult for them to accompany each other. For this reason, training, formation, updating and the commitment of loyalty to the people are very important”.
«I am sure and convinced that together we are going to achieve the pacification of the state and the country, and that, with the participation of citizens, mothers and fathers, religious leaders, teachers and teachers, with awareness and the endowment of values and principles to young people, we are going to enjoy the long-awaited tranquility once again,” said Governor David Monreal.
Also present at this ceremony were Colonel Elías Ruiz Aldaco, Chief of the General Staff of the Eleventh Military Zone; General Leonel Alcaraz Alarcón, state coordinator of the National Guard; Verónica Díaz Robles, delegate of Development Programs; and Israel Porta Martínez, regional chief of the Federal Ministerial Police.
Also present, among other authorities, were General José de Jesús Barajas Santos, delegate of the National Institute of Migration; Francisco José Murillo Ruiseco, Attorney General of State Justice; and Osvaldo Cerrillo Garza, technical secretary of the Peace Building Table.
