Governor David Monreal’s tour to Fort Worth will leave an investment of 80 million pesos

In an atmosphere of partying, trust and social coexistence, Governor David Monreal Ávila strengthened ties with migrant Zacatecans, on his tour to Fort Worth, which will leave an estimated investment of 80 million pesos in benefits.

During the first Transformation Hearing for Zacatecanos Living in the United States, he assumed commitments for the well-being and development of his compatriots.

In addition to meeting demands for public works, Monreal Ávila took advantage of the binational meeting to create the Welfare Fractionation, so that they can acquire his house in Zacatecas, with very low costs and with payment facilities.

He also runs the Welfare Credits program, to help them make an economy in Zacatecas through production units, an initiative that was highly regarded by migrants.

David Monreal explained to them that his administration’s credits are with a maximum interest of 1 percent, including all services.

This, he said, is possible thanks to the fact that the entity has cleaned up its finances despite the debt that it inherited of more than 12 billion pesos.

In addition, the Governor invited them to get married in their places of origin, for which he offered them state infrastructure to carry out migrant weddings, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism in the organization.

Result of the Agricultural Fair Expo, held yesterday in Fort Worth, an investment projection of around 60 million pesos was achieved in favor of migrants who benefited from the purchase of equipment and various implements for the promotion of the primary sector.

Monreal Ávila reported that his government, just for the purchase of tractors, invested 5 million pesos that were dispersed to support 20 producers with 250 thousand pesos.

In this sense, the Governor said that the Agricultural Fair Expo and the Public Hearing became virtuous exercises for the common development of migrants and Zacatecas, all thanks to the talent of compatriots, whose children are now great professionals in the United States. and they can contribute a lot to their places of origin.

«Therefore, I wish that my stay and that of the members of my government serve the well-being and development purpose of migrants from Zacatecas, who have rights regardless of where they are, and I want, as Governor, to contribute to the well-being of your families and of you”, he said from the Federation of Zacatecano Clubs in Fort Worth, where people who live in Georgia, Oklahoma and northern and southern California also met.

The migrants asked him, among many other issues, for paving works, drainage and the construction of embankments for water harvesting.

Some of the cases were that of Mr. Elías Torres who asked for his support for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant in Río Grande; Meanwhile, Rafael Recendiz requested intervention to improve the Vasco de Quiroga to Mesillas highway, in Fresnillo.

The president responded to each of the requests and assumed commitments to solve or intervene.

To guarantee this, he was accompanied by part of his cabinet, including the secretaries of the Countryside, Tourism, Economy and Migration, Jesús Padilla, Le Roy Barragán, Rodrigo Castañeda and Iván Reyes, respectively.

The president’s meeting with the Zacatecans living in Texas and other states was cause for celebration and nostalgia because both, government and citizens, were able to coexist in the same space to honor Zacatecas, the land where they were born.
