Governor David Monreal will take Expo Agricultural Fair and Hearing for the Transformation to Zacatecans in Texas

The headquarters of the Federation of Zacatecano Clubs, in Fort Worth, Texas, will receive this Saturday, August 5, the migrant community and their families, who have been invited by Governor David Monreal Ávila to participate in the Agricultural Fair Expo for Zacatecanos Based in United States (USA), as well as in the Transformation Hearing, which will take place on Sunday 6.

The objective, stressed the state president, is to continue strengthening collaboration with those who live abroad, especially in the United States, and to strengthen the ties that unite them with their home state.

“I want to go pay attention to the migrant community to greet them and so that together we can build the well-being and development of our countrymen there in the United States and here in Zacatecas, because most of them have their hearts and their commitment to the state, because here they have their relatives,” said Governor David Monreal.

He stressed that the objective of this rapprochement is for the Government of Zacatecas to join the effort made by the countrymen in the United States, and offer them the conditions and benefits of the programs enjoyed by those who live in the state territory.

Through this Expo Fair, the Government of Zacatecas involves said community in the development of the state, with the promotion of a comprehensive public policy, aimed at taking advantage of the opportunities offered by mobility, while disseminating the tools developed to face the challenges that this phenomenon poses through programs and actions for its attention.

The appointment for the Expo Fair is at 4323 E. Lancaster Avenue, number 1, in Fort Worth, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday the 5th; although the window to receive applications from those who wish to benefit from the support is open from this Friday the 4th.

While the Hearing for the Transformation, where the president will listen and attend to the requests of the migrant community, will be on Sunday the 6th, starting at 10:30 a.m., at the same venue.

The Zacatecas president will be accompanied by Jesús Padilla Estrada, Le Roy Barragán Ocampo and Iván Reyes Millán, secretaries of the Field, Tourism and the Zacatecano Migrant, respectively, of the Government of Zacatecas.

Also attending will be authorities from Fort Worth, representatives of the Hispanic business chambers in that city and the General Consulate of Mexico in Dallas, Texas.
