Economic Politics of Governor David Monreal gives Positive Results for Zacatecas

Data from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), located Zacatecas as the second state of the Mexican Republic with the highest growth in economic activity, during the first quarter of 2023, with 6.2 percent.

This is the result of the fact that the public policies in economic matters, implemented by Governor David Monreal Ávila, are giving positive results.

INEGI announced that the ITAEE results, corresponding to the first quarter of 2023, confirmed a favorable economic outlook that positioned Zacatecas in second place.

Within these three groups, Zacatecas is in favorable positions, which has contributed to the sustained economic growth shown so far during the administration of Governor David Monreal Ávila.

In primary activities, Zacatecas ranks first, with a real percentage variation of 28 percent, compared to the same quarter of the previous year, surpassing entities such as Chihuahua (22.7%), Baja California (15.8%) and Sinaloa (10.1%). %).

Meanwhile, in secondary activities, Zacatecas presented a growth of 1.1 percent, surpassing entities such as Aguascalientes (0.7%), Jalisco (0.5%) and Baja California (0.3%).

Regarding tertiary activities, Zacatecas is in sixth position with a percentage variation of 5.5 percent, surpassing entities such as Jalisco (5.2%), Nuevo León (5.0%) and Sinaloa (4.8%).

Rodrigo Castañeda Miranda, Secretary of Economy, reported that actions such as linking and job creation, strengthening micro, small and medium-sized companies, promoting local production and support programs for vulnerable groups.
