David Monreal’s meeting with migrants, a message of how valuable they are: Consul of Mexico in Dallas

The General Consul of Mexico in Dallas, Texas, Francisco de la Torre, considered that the meeting of the Governor of Zacatecas with the migrants from Zacatecas was a clear message of how valuable they are.

«The fact that the Governor is coming is a recognition of the Zacatecan community, the largest and most organized that exists in North Texas,» said the diplomat.

On behalf of the Government of Mexico, he also participated in the activities carried out by the president, the result of which is an estimated investment of 80 million pesos, for the benefit of Zacatecas.

De la Torre highlighted, in this sense, the fact that Monreal Ávila has not only met with the migrant community, but that, far from making promises, it came to provide support and services from the Government of various kinds, in recognition of how much who support Zacatecas from both sides of the border.

On Saturday, he headed the First Agricultural Fair Expo for Zacatecans Living in the United States and, as a result, an estimated spill of 60 million pesos was achieved to strengthen the Zacatecan countryside.

And on Sunday, he held the first Transformation Hearing for Zacatecanos Living in the United States, in which he made available the Welfare Fractionation, credits for businesses and other social programs.

In addition, he addressed specific demands from Zacatecanos living in Texas, Georgia, Oklahoma, and northern and southern California.

So, between the two activities, the president and the migrants reached agreements for 80 million pesos, which will be reflected through various actions in favor of the migrant community, their places of origin and their families.
